About The Training

This a training in which every participants will learn how to create app or software that will be installed on phones running the Android OS. They will be learning GIT, XML, Java, SQLite, Android framework and will be using Android Studio for coding

The trainings are practical based and student are expected to build an Android App that will be ready for deployment on Google Play at the end of the training.

This training is targeted at:

  • People who already build Android apps but want to learn how to build it from scratch

Training Requirement

  • No programing experiences
    Good computer usage skill No previous coding (programing) experience is required for this training, as the training can be taken by somebody with zero skill in programming. The training will be so intense participant will end the training with skills they can use to develop world class software.
  • Good computer usage skill
    All students are expected to know how to navigate their way on a computer system, They should know how to create files, save files in a folder and be very familiar with their computer keyboard.
  • Hardware Requirement
    Students are expected to come for the training with a laptop that has wireless LAN, minimum capacity 8Gb RAM, minimum free space on hard disk should be 200Gb, minimum Core i3 or Higher, processor speed of 2.5GHz or Higher.
  • Software Requirement
    All students are expected to have a PDF reader and Microsoft office installed in their system. Any other software needed will be provided by our organization.

XML

XML is used to describe data. The basics of the XML syntax will be helpful in your journey to full-fledged Android developer status; it is used in doing tasks like designing User Interface (UI) layouts and parsing data feeds from the internet. Much of what you will need of XML can be done through Android Studio, but it is a good idea to be grounded in the basics of the markup language.

Java

Java is the basic building block of Android development. To be a successful Android developer, you will need to be comfortable with Java. Java is one of the most popular programming languages used by software developers today, so learning its ins and outs will stand you in good stead for work and even beyond the Android platform.

Sqlite

SQLite is a database used to store an application data. SQLite in combination with Java enables you store, retrieve, edit and delete your application data.

Android Studio

Built and maintained by Google this is the Official Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Android Operating System. This is where you write your code and also create your application user interface, this IDE comes with sample codes, software libraries, handy coding tools, and much more to help you build, test, and debug your Android Application.

Alabi is the Lead Developer at Alabian Solutions Limited and to his credit is NIM/UI a PHP powered Student Management Portal for NIM/UI Postgraduate Diploma in Management. He also freelances as a Web Technology Instructor at Web Academy Nigeria. Alabi will be teaching the backend technologies.

Uwazie Benedict

Ben is the Training Manager at Alabian Solutions Limited. He is known for his down to earth presentation and clear communication in class room. Some of his works are Alabian Solutions website, Reals Pharmaceutical (a custom Wordpress theme) and he built and implemented a payment system for NIM elearning portal.

Oyekunle Opeyemi

Opeyemi studied Physics at Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a JavaScript Engineer at Alabian Solutions and he will be taking lectures in JavaScript, jQuery and PHP. He also supervise students during their projects. He coordinated the web app development for NIM NYSC Application Portal

Ikwu Jonathan

Prince is a Frontend Developer at Alabian Solutions Limited and he also likes playing with WordPress Theme and he has built over 26 powered WP site integrating various plugins such WooCommerce, PayStack, VoguePay Payment Gateway etc. Some his project includes dejavu.ng, Imelda Jane Initiative, nutriaidconsult.com, midasinteriorsltd.com etc

Oderinlo Anuoluwapo

Anuoluwapo is a Front-end developer and graphics designer, versatile with the use of Sass-css, Javascript, Corel-draw, Photoshop and Git. He is involved in execution and production of training materials and other project executions. He teaches and assists students with their coding challenges.

Agbolade Dayo

Oladayo is an Android Developer and JavaScript Evangelist with a zeal and passion to raise a generation of software developers who can drive the Nigerian tech community. He is responsible for executing team projects and also ensures that his students follow along during the course of training.
