About The Training

This training is organise by the Data Analytics team at Alabian Solutions Limited so it is a practical oriented training class. There will be a tutor lead section, hands-on session and a student capstone project. Every student will be expected to complete a project on Data Analytics using the tools learnt during the training. All graduand will benefit from free consultation service from Alabian Solutions Ltd.

  • No coding experiences
    No previous coding (programing) skill set is required for this training, as the training can be taken by somebody with zero skill in programming. The training will be intensive for participants leaving them with skill they can use to develop world class software.
  • Good computer usage skill
    All students are expected to know how to navigate their way on a computer system. They should know how to create files, save files in a folder and be very familiar with their computer keyboard.
  • Hardware Requirement
    Students are expected to come for the training with a laptop that has Wireless LAN, minimum 2Gb RAM, minimum free space on hard disk should be 50Gb minimum Dual Core CPU and USB port.
  • Software Requirement
    All students are expected to have PDF reader and Microsoft office installed in their system. Any other software need will be provided by us.

About Excel

It is clear that a data analyst needs variety of tools to carry out his work, Excel is one of the tools we will be using in this training, we will apply some of the concepts we learned in Statistics and see how we can use Excel functions to carry out some operations, we look at how to create Charts, Vlookup, Sorting & Filtering etc.
